A lead gift from Christ’s College alumnus Tom Elworthy and his wife Victoria will support Christ’s College in the first steps of building the Sporting Excellence Health and Well Being Centre in 2019.
Tom (1982-85) is a College past student, parent and former College Board member. Tom and Victoria have two sons - Hugo and Monty who recently attended College. “We are thrilled to support College and both Victoria and I are committed to ensuring the support and facilities we enjoyed, will be available for future generations,” says Tom.
Tom and Victoria’s significant gift aligns well with the concept that the redevelopment of the Cranmer site on the corner of Gloucester and Montreal streets will become a multi-purpose educational and sporting space, not only available to College students but also the wider community.
“We are enormously grateful for this generous benefaction from Tom and Victoria, and honoured, that they have the kindness and forethought to give so generously,” says Christ’s College Executive Principal Garth Wynne.
