Christ’s College Old Boy Marcel Gray leads with a significant gift to the For the Boys, For our Future campaign.
One of Christ’s College most prolific sports sponsors, and a contributor to the refurbishment of the College gym, has now also pledged a significant lead gift to the For the Boys, For our Future fundraising campaign.
Marcel’s gift pledge will go toward the Sporting Excellence Health and Wellbeing Centre, a multi-purpose facility balancing physical sport, with health and mental wellbeing. It will include basketball courts, a rowing tank and strength and conditioning facilities to be built on the Cramner site, on the corner of Gloucester and Montreal Street. It is expected building will start in 2019.
Ric Fletcher, Christ’s College Director of Development, says, “Marcel Gray’s gift to College is exceptional and transformational. His pledge to lead the way in building the new facility on the Cramner site will guide College into a new era. This is extraordinarily generous and we are extremely grateful for his visionary contribution. “
The For the Boys, For our Future campaign is the biggest transformational fundraising campaign Christ’s College has ever embarked upon. Since 1850, Christ’s College has prepared generation after generation of young men for success in an ever-changing world.
